CDA Hires Hunting Cats as a Solution

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) came up with a unique solution to tackle the growing rat problem in the Parliament House. According to sources, the CDA has decided to deploy hunting cats, commonly known for their rat-catching abilities, to address the issue. A budget of Rs1.2 million has been allocated for this effort.

The decision to bring in these feline hunters was made after the increasing presence of rats in the Parliament House became a significant concern. These rodents have been causing damage across various departments of the Senate and National Assembly, even going as far as gnawing on important files in offices.

In addition to employing the cats, the CDA plans to install special mesh traps to further control the rat population. The ceilings, which are heavily infested, are believed to be the breeding ground for these rodents.

To ensure the effectiveness of the plan, the CDA will also seek assistance from private-sector experts in pest control. This initiative reflects the seriousness of the situation and the urgency to restore order within the Parliament House.
