Big win for PTI as Supreme Court rules in favour of SIC in reserved seats case – Pakistan

The 13-member Supreme Court bench on Friday overturned the denial of reserved seats to the PTI-backed Sunni Ittehad Council.

A majority of eight judges backed the decision announced by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, which annulled the Peshawar High Court’s previous order and deemed it “unconstitutional”.
