The FA are set to hold talks with Gareth Southgate after England’s Euro 2024 clash with Spain on Sunday, according to reports.
The Three Lions qualified for the final with a 2-1 victory over the Netherlands on Wednesday night, with Harry Kane and Ollie Watkins both on target.
England are set to play in the final of a major tournament for a second time under Southgate, having previously reached the final stage of Euro 2020 three years ago.
Southgate has faced plenty of criticism this tournament, with the 53-year-old’s tactics coming under scrutiny.

Fans threw cups at the England boss after the 0-0 draw with Slovenia on matchday three, with frustrations boiling over that night.
But the FA, according to widespread reports, are keen for Southgate to stay.
He previously indicated at the start of the tournament that he would leave his post if the Three Lions missed out on glory.
Yet the FA remain adamant that Southgate is the right man for the job and would love to see him extend his stay in the dugout.
After Euro 2024 is out of the way, England will start to set their sights on winning the World Cup in 2026.

That tournament will be hosted in the United States, Canada and Mexico – with the Three Lions already among the favourites to go all the way.
England will discuss Southgate’s future after the final with Spain. For now, it’s unclear what the former Middlesbrough boss wants to do.
Should he decide to leave, three names are in the frame to take over.
One is Eddie Howe, though prising him away from Newcastle would be difficult given his popularity over at St James’ Park.
A second candidate is Graham Potter, who remains out of work following his departure from Chelsea last year.

And Mauricio Pochettino is also on England’s shortlist of potential replacements, with the Argentine now a free agent following his own departure from Stamford Bridge earlier this summer.
If the Three Lions are successful in their pursuit of glory, an open-top bus parade is set to take place on Tuesday.
England’s squad will also meet King Charles and Prince William at Buckingham Palace, too.
For now, however, their sole focus is on beating Spain.
La Roja have been in terrific form this tournament and reached the final with a 2-1 victory over France on Tuesday night.

But goals from Lamine Yamal turned the match around, with Spain now on the brink of a first major trophy in 12 years.
Southgate, meanwhile, believes England must be ‘tactically perfect’ if they’re to win Euro 2024 on Sunday night.
“They have won a few trophies,” he said.
“They are a b****y good side. Let’s pitch it right.

“We have got to be perfect to win this game and we will have to find everything that we have got from within us.
“We have got players who have played lots of big matches so they will know what is required on the night but in the next couple of days we have got to get perfectly prepared as it is such a quick turnaround.”
