Additionally, the global prices of lithium batteries halved, further contributing to the reduction in domestic solar panel costs. However, dry battery prices haven’t experienced the same decline, as importers have been hesitant to lower prices for local consumers.

Over the past year, Pakistan’s solar energy market has expanded rapidly, with imports from China playing a key role in meeting the growing demand for net metering solutions. The soaring cost of grid electricity has pushed many consumers to switch to more affordable and reliable solar energy options.
