Indian news agencies reported that the 76-year-old Sheikh Hasina Wajid arrived in India on a C-130 aircraft, landing at the Hindon Air Force Base near New Delhi. She met with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval upon arrival.

These included the Ganges River Treaty, establishing a land border, and commencing bus services between the two nations.
